WEBIn the rodent, the bulbourethral glands are androgen-regulated accessory glands that are analogous to Cowper’s glands in humans. They are located near the base of the penis, embedded within the ischiocavernosus and bulbocavernosus muscles. They are paired and consist of a main body, tail, and secretory duct.
