Thanksgiving in Canada in 2021 | Office Holidays
Canadian Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday in October and is an official statutory holiday, except in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. In Nova Scotia, Thanksgiving is a Designated Retail Closing Day. This means under the Retail Business Designated Day Closing Act, some retail businesses are prohibited from opening, but it is not a paid holiday.
