What's the difference between job analysis and competencies?
The individual KSAOs or combinations of KSAOs are the competencies, and the set of competencies are referred to as the competency model. Competencies are typically broader in definition than Job Analysis KSAOs. (self-esteem, agreeableness, etc.) They are more focused on the future of the company.
