WebFeb 27, 2019 · DSR is an anti-aliasing method that runs your games at a higher resolution, then downscales it to your monitor. It is more taxing than other forms of AA such as TAA or FXAA. Generally, you want a 4x DSR factor, but that would mean you're running at 4k if you have a 1080p panel, making it a poor solution for modern games.
