What kind of fish does the Australian lungfish eat?
The Australian lungfish lays gelatinous eggs among water plants; the larvae, which have no external gills, breathe through internal gills. Lungfishes are voracious, eating a variety of aquatic animals, including members of their own species. In captivity, African lungfishes eat earthworms, pieces of meat, tadpoles, small frogs, and small fish.
