WEBYour measurement of Parsec input latency should be: C-H = Parsec Protocol Latency. C= Parsec Client Input Latency, H= Host direct connection Latency. For our test, C was 23 milliseconds, H was 16 milliseconds, giving a total additional input latency of 7 milliseconds.

Troubleshooting Lag, Latency and Quality Issues – Parsec
WEBThe quality and performance of a Parsec stream is very dependent on the network and hardware of the host and the people joining the stream. This article goes over checking Parsec's latency info and console log for information on why the stream is performing poorly, and some tips to fix it depending on what Parsec shows.

Frame Rate Test — Steam-In-Home-Streaming Versus Parsec …
WEBIn that test, we demonstrated how Parsec is much more consistently hitting 16.67 milliseconds per frame for a consistent 60 FPS gaming experience over the internet. Consistently hitting 16.67 milliseconds is extremely important for the perception of latency and smoothness of gaming with a low latency streaming protocol, like Parsec.
WEBOn our test setup on a LAN ethernet connection, Parsec adds only 7 milliseconds of latency to your game. Remember, your ping is important, so if you're far from the computer, there will be more lag. BUD - Our high performance network protocol. We use our own peer-to-peer networking protocol called BUD; Better User Datagrams (naming is hard).
WEBDecode latency - Shows how many milliseconds the client computer takes to decode a single frame. Encode latency - Shows how many milliseconds the host computer takes to encode (plus capture) a single frame. Network latency - Shows the round trip network latency between the host and client in milliseconds.

Small latency comparison (local/parsec/moonlight) : r/cloudygamer - Reddit
WEBDec 5, 2021 · Basically I've found Parsec better for remote gaming and Moonlight better on a local LAN. It also becomes more evident at 1440p/120Hz. This is based on how the gameplay feels. I did do a test like yours but at the time the latency of my TV was very high so got wildly different results each test.
