All of the 2x lumber at Home Depot is treated for ground contact, but the lumber at Lowes is not. Check the tags on the lumber to see what I am saying. At Lowes, the only pressure-treated lumber will be the 4x timbers such as 4x4’s, 4x6’s, etc. if they have them.
