To restore your database, follow these steps: Launch SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and connect to your SQL Server instance. Right-click the Databases node in Object Explorer and select Restore Database... Select Device: and then select the ellipses (...) to locate your backup file. Select Add and navigate to where your .bak file is located. Select OK to close the Select backup devices dialog box. In the Destination section, the Database box is automatically populated with the name of the database to be restored. You can change it if you want to restore to a different database. Launch SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and connect to your SQL Server instance. Right-click the Databases node in Object Explorer and select Restore Database.... In Object Explorer, connect to an instance of the SQL Server Database Engine and then expand that instance. Right-click Databases and select Restore Database...

Right-click the Databases node in Object Explorer and select Restore Database...
