To open Excel to a blank workbook, follow these steps: 1. Open Excel application. 2.Go to File and then click Options. 3. Under General menu in the left hand pane, uncheck the 'Show the Start screen when this application starts' on the Start up options and click OK. 4. Close Excel and reopen it. It will now open straight to a blank workbook.
