it is really dying. People try to comfort themselves by seeing the chart for each month, and indeed, there is an increase and decrease. However, just make them see the all-time graph, you can clearly see that DoTA2 player right now is half of before. It is not dying as it will close soon but on its way to it if this keeps up.
Is Dota 2 Really Free?Yes - DotA 2 is completely free. No hero/champion purchase like Heroes of the Storm, Smite or LoL: you get all 111 heroes to play with from the start. There's no weekly rotation, no farming for heroes, no paying your entire savings for a heroes bundle. You get everything from the get go.
Is Dota 2 still in beta?Yes, Dota 2 is now available for both Mac and Linux. Now that the game is out of beta, are you finished working on it? Dota 2 will continue to move forward, just like it always has. We still have old (and eventually new) heroes to release and an endless supply of features to build.
What is Dota 2 like compared to League?The objectives of both games are more or less the same but they have some differences. One of the differences is the size of their map. Dota 2 has a larger map than League of Legends. That translates to a longer average duration of games compared to League of Legends. That isn’t necessarily good or bad.
