WEBJul 12, 2023 · Freezing point depression depends on the total number of dissolved nonvolatile solute particles, just as with boiling point elevation. Thus an aqueous \(\ce{NaCl}\) solution has twice as large a freezing point depression as a glucose solution of the same molality.
